What is BlockChain | Everything About BlockChain

BlockChain:

In the modern era, everyone is talking about Cryptocurrency, because this is going to be the next big thing like the internet, so if you don’t want to stay away from the conversation then please follow our blog. Because we are going to start a new series where we will explain to you all about cryptocurrency in an easy way. So let’s start with the base of crypto. Blockchain.

What is Blockchain:

You might be thinking that what is blockchain and all? There are two words 1.block and 2.chain. That means blocks are connected by a series of chains. Now the next question is what do those blocks contain? Too many questions right? Okay so let me explain.

Google, Facebook, Yahoo all are centralized websites, which means each of them is controlled by a particular company or a particular person. And they can change our data or also can use them for their profit. Somehow that process affects our privacy. But blockchain is a decentralized process that is not controlled by anyone, neither any company nor any person. It is a huge spreadsheet that contains data of every user, and every user on that network has access to the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet contains blocks that are divided into three parts, and each block is connected via chains. Every block contains a hash, a previous hash and data of transactions between users. The first block doesn't hold any previous hash that is called the genesis block.

Hash, Previous Hash, Data

 Hash, previous hash and data:

Hash is a code in a blockchain like AAAA is a hash code in the first block. After a payment in cryptocurrency the second block generates and creates a new hash code BBBB, to match the first block that also creates a previous hash code AAAA(basically the hash of the first block), and at the end new data got registered in that block, like who paid whom how much cryptocurrency and vice-versa.

Consensus Rule:

After every block generated the spreadsheet gets distributed or updated to every user on that network. Anyone can see that and can also try to change that block. But that is not as easy as it seems. If you want to change the data in a block, then the hash code of the block will change automatically and it won’t match with the previous hash of the next block and vice versa. In that case, you have to change all the hashes on that network, which will consume a lot of time. In bitcoin, every block takes 10 minutes to change the hash. After you change the hashes you have to share the blocks with everyone. Then there will be voting between all the members of that network and if they consider your change legitimate and agree with the change, only then you can change the data, if not so then your change will be rejected by the algorithm. That is called the Consensus Rule.

Consequence of Changing Hash Code

So we can say that it is almost impossible to cheat or hack blockchain, but not totally impossible.

Case study: Apple’s success

There are very few companies out there that are as successful as Apple is. The simple answer to their success is the great strategy made by Apple. Let’s discuss that-

The strategy of selling all products:

Do you know that the former Apple CEO Steve Jobs favorite book was Bhagavad Gita which is known for wisdom and also for the Mahabharata’s strategy. Then what less can you expect from a company like Apple to do. To sell their all products not only sell but also to dominate in the category they created their ecosystem called the Apple ecosystem. If you are not familiar with the term ecosystem then let me define you in easy language. In the Apple ecosystem, all Apple products are interconnected and they work perfectly and seamlessly in their ecosystem. Apple creates a lot of products from smartphone to smart Bluetooth speaker to laptops and many more. Let’s take an example: the most popular smartwatch out there is the Apple watch(according to Apple) and if you want to use one of them then you need to have an iPhone cause it works only with iPhones. Let’s suppose you own an iPhone and now you want to buy a laptop/pc then what can be the better option than a MacBook or an iMac. Now you can’t say that you don’t have enough money lying around to buy one of them, if you can spend on an iPhone then you should also spend on those products to unlock Apple’s true potential.

Customer value:

Apple always chooses their customer in the first place against any other option, and its main priority is to protect consumer’s data. An average consumer would always want to use easy tech which can be accessed smoothly and also which can add value in their life, if it’s not then the tech is useless. Apple understood that and implemented them in their all products and they came up with easy to use IOS for iPhone, MAC OS for MacBooks and iMacs and seamless use of all Apple products in the Apple ecosystem. If you ever use anyone Apple product then you would barely switch to Android or any other platforms. And that’s how they managed to create a loyal consumer base and it is next to impossible to break that.

Innovation:

Apple has been always known for their innovation. When it was the beginning Apple managed to come up with the world’s first commercially successful PC then they created the world’s first successful smartphone, the first iPhone in 2007. After that, they brought the world’s most popular smartwatch ever made in history. All that was at the time of Steve Jobs now Apple is just relaunching their old products with a few here and there upgrades.

World-Class Marketing:

Apple is always good with its marketing. After launching any products you can see their advertisement everywhere from YouTube ads to television ads and also obviously in Time Square’s Billboards.

Fingerprint Scanner Introduction:

We should learn how Apple has introduced the old unpopular technologies with excellent marketing skills, if you do not know about that then let me throw light over there for you. According to Apple, the first fingerprint scanner was invented by Apple but before them, it was implemented in a phone called Pantech GI100 in 2004, when Apple didn’t even launch their phone. But, at that time it was unpopular and Apple used the fingerprint scanner in iPhone 5s in 2013 and named it the so-called Touch ID. And also acquired the patent of the Fingerprint scanner.

It all happened only by their marketing skill. They mentioned the Touch ID as the key feature of the iPhone 5s. There are many such examples but let’s leave them for another blog.

Apple as environment protector:

In the last year(2020) Apple didn’t include Charging brick and ear pods in iPhone’s retailing box to reduce the e-waste and also to use less amount of paper in their box(due to smaller box size ). Okay, that seems good, right? Let’s discuss that, Apple planned this marketing strategy many years ago so they first removed their earphone jack in the 2016 (16th Sep) iPhone 7, then they released the first Apple’s wireless earphone Air pods on 13th Dec 2016, if someone is unable to afford one they included a lightning to 3.5mm jack dongle in their box, after a few years 21st Sep 2018 they released iPhone Xs without packing the dongle inside the box cause the dongle caused slow down their wireless earphone sell. From 2017 to 2018 they sold around 51million units of Air pods, but in 2018 when Apple released their next iPhone without a dongle the Air pods sales increased more than double of 2017 and 2018 in 2019 and it became freaking 60 million a year(2019). In 2019’s iPhone the charging cable was a type C to lightning cable and then the next year in 2020 they became a so-called environmentalist and removed the charging brick, but provided a type C to lightning cable, which can be only accessed if you own a previous-gen iPhone. But if you want to buy a changing brick they worth rupees 1,999 Apple gave you a choice to buy a Mag Safe worth rupees 4,500, but to think of it, it doesn’t make the e-waste less but increase it, Apple could have provided a USB with a to type C cable, and you can use it with your old charger, but you have to buy one brick which increases waste one your old charger and the second your new brick’s box packaging. Then what it is to if it’s not marketing

Strategy to earn the maximum profit:

Apple is currently the world’s second most valuable company with the net worth of $2.08 trillion so they have always managed to generate the most revenue by crafting products at the lowest cost and selling them at a higher price tag. For example, Apple revealed that it costs roughly 35,000 INR to craft an iPhone X but they sell that at 91,900 INR it means that they generate a revenue of 56,900/iPhone X which is pretty much sick. The crafting price is low because they try to not be dependent on other companies for components, they are always a self-sufficient company. They designed cheap for their iPhone, they built their Operating System and many more. They are only dependent on Samsung for their display, in the past, they used to take computers cheap from Intel but now they also managed to build the world’s first ARM-based computer cheap which is as expected faster than any other cheap.

Mi Dual-driver vs Redmi Earphones

Redmi earphones and MI Dual-driver both are launched by the same company MI. Both earphones are one of the best in their price range. The Redmi earphone is pretty good under the 500 rupees price range and the MI Dual-driver is good under the 1000 rupees price range. So let's compare the difference between an almost premium earphone with a cheap earphone.

Box content:

Redmi Earphones and MI Dual-driver both come with good packaging. Both come with an earphone, 2 pairs of ear tips(small, large, the medium is pre-applied with the earphone) and a warranty/manual card.

MI Dual-driver  box content

Design and build quality:

Redmi  Earphones come with one of the best designs in this price range. The ear cups are good looking with shiny material and it also has a texture. Talking about the Build quality this 400 rupees earphone has the best build at this price segment, the earcups are made with metal and the wire is also pretty thick. If you take care of the earphone it can easily last 1 year.

Talking about the MI Dual-driver they occupied the best build quality spot under 1000 rupees. The lower portion of the wire is fully breaded and the top is made of normal wire but they are pretty sturdy. The ear cups are made of aluminum and the back has a carbon fiber finish. You can say that they are premium earphones just by using them once.

Fitting and comfort:

Talking about fitting, Redmi Earphones struggle to stick in the ear canal because of the small ear cups.

The MI dual-driver fits well due to the 45 degree tilted earplugs. But I can’t say it’s comfortable because the front of the earphone is slightly out of the way.

Music:

Bass:

The bass of the Redmi earphone is high. In the high volume, you can easily feel the distortion of the base.

MI Dual driver’s base is not as high as Redmi Earphones but it is quite soothing in the ear; the bass is only when it’s needed. But here also you can feel the distortion in high volume.

Treble:

The Redmi Earphone’s treble is low. Sometimes you can’t notice any side instrument playing in the song.

The MI Dual driver’s treble is also not so high(compared to Sennheiser cx180) but you can easily identify the instruments they are playing.

Vocal:

Redmi and MI both have almost the same clarity in the vocal department but MI has slightly better voice clarity.

Sound stage and Sound Separation:

The sound separation and sound staging is totally missing from Redmi Earphones. It feels like the sound is coming from only one direction.

In MI Dual driver the sound staging and sound separation is pretty good. You can easily feel the music is playing around you.

I had played ‘Nadan parinda’, ‘Afreen Afreen’, ‘Hotel California', ‘Cardigan’, and many more in both the earphones but MI Dual driver performed quite extraordinary.

Gaming:

Both the earphones are good at gaming but the MI dual-driver takes some advantages because of the high treble which produced by another 8 mm driver.

Calling:

Talking about the calling Both have an inline mic. But MI has a volume controller but Redmi has only the single play pause button. You can easily take calls from both earphones.

Conclusion:

If you are a bass lover and only listen to EDM and bass-heavy songs and also you are on a tight budget then the Redmi Earphone is suitable for you. But if you are a music lover and want to listen to every note crisp and clear and also if you can manage with low bass then you should go with MI Dual Driver. Considering the price both earphones provide good value Redmi one comes with 400 rupees price range and MI dual-driver comes with 800 rupees price range.

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G | Specifications & Review

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G - Full Specifications and In-depth Review

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G Review & Specs
Samsung Galaxy M42

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is a new addition to their M series and it is one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the market.

Over the last 1-2 years we have seen Samsung disparately trying to grab the Indian Smartphone market which was almost got grabbed by Redmi & Realme.

We all know the reason why Redmi & Realme succeeded in the market - all thanks to their value for money mobiles. Samsung also tried this trick. That's why the company brought out series like - M series, F series & A series.

In this article, we are going to have a look at the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G smartphone. And also I am here, as always, to review it.

Performance of Samsung Galaxy M42 5G:

Processor :

The processor used in this smartphone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. Obviously, it is a 5G processor. There are 8 cores in this processor. It has a maximum 2.2 GHz clock speed on dual-core.

RAM and ROM:

The base variant of this mobile phone comes with 6 GB RAM & 128 GB ROM.
However, you can upgrade the storage of it if you need more. The ROM storage of this smartphone is upgradeable up to 1 TB.
For your information, the operating system with some preinstalled apps (bloatwares) consumes about 20 GB of storage.
Unless you use need to use the mobile as an external hard disk drive, I am pretty much sure that you don't need to use a 1 TB microSD card.

Camera of Samsung Galaxy M42 5G:

The all-new Samsung Galaxy M42 5G has a quad-camera setup. The primary camera sensor used in this phone is a 48 MP camera sensor.
The other cameras used are an 8-megapixel camera for ultra-wide image, a 5-megapixel macro camera for clicking images of small objects from a very close distance and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera for blurring out background objects while clicking portrait shots.
It has a 20 MP front-facing camera.

Camera review of Samsung Galaxy M42 5G:

So far what I have noticed that the camera performance of Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is not up to the mark. However, you will get decent pictures in normal clicks but all these images lack minor details. However, the portraits clicked using the front camera are really great.

Display of Samsung Galaxy M42 5G:

Like most of the flagship smartphones, Samsung Galaxy M42 5G has a 6.6 inches Super AMOLED display.
The refresh rate of the display is 60 Hz and it has a pixel density of 266 PPI. But, the resolution of the display is not much impressive, Samsung Galaxy M42 5G has a display resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
The image quality of this display is satisfactory.

Battery & Charging:

A massive 5000 mAh battery has been used in this phone.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G supports fast charging. The company provides a 15 watts in-box fast charger.
But, in my option, Samsung should use at-leats a 20-watt fast charger to charge this mega 5000 mAh battery

Operating System of Samsung Galaxy M42 5G:

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G runs on One UI 3.1 that is based on Android 11. From my personal point of view, I really liked Samsung's one UI for its clean interface and additional features. But, there are some preinstalled practically useless Samsung apps that come with this OS.

Conclusion:

Overall, Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is a great choice if you are looking for an affordable 5G smartphone in the range of 20,000.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S - In-depth & Honest Review

If you are making a plan to purchase the best mobiles in the price range of ₹ 15,000, there are plenty of options. And, Redmi Note 10S may be one of the best of them.

In this article, we are going to do an in-depth review of one of the most popular mobile phones under 15,000 by Xiaomi - Redmi Note 10S.

The Redmi Note 10S was launched recently on May 15 2021.

redmi-note-10s-review

Performance:

One of the biggest notable aspects of this phone is its performance. So we are going to have a look at its performance first.

Processor:

Redmi Note 10S has MediaTek Helio G95 as its cheaset.  The processor of this phone clocks upto 2.05 GHz to do processing faster. The processor is supported by ARM Mali-676 MC4 GPU of efficient and lag free gaming.

This processor delivers a far better performance than Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G and has faster CPU, RAM and GPU speed.

The Processor has reached approx. 324500 AnTuTu Benchmark score.

RAM & ROM:

The mobile phone has two variants of RAM & ROM storage.

You can either buy the 6 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM storage or you can go for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM storage in case if you need more ROM.

Both the RAM are based on LPDDR4X technology and the ROM has UFS 2.2 storage technology.

However, you can expand the ROM storage by 512 GB using external memory card.

Display:

Redmi Note 10S has a 6.43 inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED display.

This Super AMOLED display has a 409 PPI pixel density and the display refresh rate of this display is 60Hz.

As Redmi is providing a Super AMOLED display in this price range, it is really a markable point of this mobile phone but the 60 Hz display refresh rate may not give you the desired visual experience while gaming or watching a video.

Redmi has also offered Reading mode 3.0 and Sunlight mode 2.0 for providing better viewability respectively for viewing at night and viewing the screen under direct sunlight.

Overall, I, from my personal opinion, am very satisfied with this display quality.

Camera:

Another notable feature of this mobile phone is its camera.

The all new Redmi Note 10S has a 64 MP camera as its primary camera. This camera is a wide angle camera with f/1.79 aperture.

The 8 MP ultra wide angle camera of this phone allows you to click up to 118° image.

There is also a 2 Megapixel macro and a 2 Megapixel camera for depth sensing.

The rear camera supports various features like - night mode, AI beauty mode and AI portrait mode with bokeh and depth control.

With the rear cameras you can capture videos in macro mode, pro time-lapse mode and slow motion mode even at 4k @ 30 fps. If you want to go for 60 fps frame rate, you have to choose 1080 p resolution and you can also capture video @ 30 fps in 1080 p.

The front camera of this mobile has a resolution of 13 MP and has lots of modes and effects.

Battery and Charger:

This phone has got a 5000 mAh huge battery that can easily run your mobile for 1 day even if you game for 1-1.5 hours.

A 33W in-box fast charger is also provided with this phone to charge your device pretty fast.

Design & Built Quality:

The mobile phone with its camera position, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and attractive colours has a decent look. It comes in three colors named as - shadow black, frost white and deep sea blue.

Pros (👍)

Cons (👎)

Impressive Super AMOLED display in the price range of 15000

Processor could be better.

5000 mAh battery

The brand has already brought out it's another competitor.

64 MP camera

Front camera could be better.

Conclusion:

Considering its price for 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant it can be said that Redmi Note 10S truly justifies its price.
