Redmi Note 10 Pro Max vs Realme 8 Pro

Hey guys, what's up? Hope all of you are keeping well in this epidemic.

In this post, we are going to compare Redmi Note 10 Pro and Realme 8 Pro.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Realme 8 Pro are both blockbusters, both phones are provided with great specifications obviously at a very reasonable price. And both the phones are priced almost same.

So let's compare there 2 :

Display :

At first, let's discuss the display.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max offers you a 16.9 cm (6.67 inch) Full HD Super AMOLED display. It has a stunning display refresh rate of 120Hz. It means you will get a non-blurry clear viewing experience while gaming or watching movies and of course you will get an ultra-smooth scrolling experience. Xiaomi has claimed that this display has a peak brightness of 1200nits, which will help you to clearly see your phone even in direct sunlight. It cannot be denied that this phone offers you one of the best viewing experience ever on a phone of Rs. 20,000 segment. The color accuracy of this display is pretty well.

On the other hand, Realme 8 Pro has a 16.3 cm (6.4 inches) Super AMOLED display. But it has the base which is 60 Hz. So that's one down point of Realme 8 pro over Redmi Note 7 Pro Max. The screen is a full HD screen just like Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. While RN 10 Pro Max has 395 PPI, Realme 8 Pro has 411 PPI that provided you a much better viewing experience.

Both the phone has same aspect ratio of 20:9

Overall it can be said that both of the phones are great from their own individual aspects. But I personally shall prefer 120 Hz refresh rate of Redmi Note 10 Pro Max over 411 PPI density of Realme 8 Pro's display.

Performance :

Now, let's talk about their performance.

Realme 8 Pro has been powered up with Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 720G and on the other hand Redmi Note 10 Pro Max has been powered up with Qualcomm® Snapdragon 732G. SD 720G is slightly better than 732G. But as per the data of versus.com 732G has a much higher GPU clock speed than 720G.

Both of the processors come up with Adreno 618 GPU. So there would be no difference in their gaming performance. And both have 8 nm semiconductor size.

But, none of the phones has 5G support which we have seen previously in Narzo 30 Pro.

However, in this aspect of performance, the result is tied.

Camera:

Here's the point which will definitely make a great difference between these phones.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max has a 108 MP quad camera setup. Don't rub your eyes because you noticed it right. It has a primary camera of 108 MP powered by Samsung ICOCELL HM2 sensor. Just like these Realme 8 Pro also has 108 MP quad-camera setup with Samsung ICOCELL MH2 sensor (With up to 20x digital zoom) Both have an 8 MP Ultra-Wide angle camera and a 2 MP depth-sensing camera. But Redmi Note 10 Pro Max offers you a 5 MP macro camera (with 2x telephoto zoom) compared to Realme 8 Pro's 2 MP Macro camera.

Both phones give you the option to record 4K videos. With Realme 8 Pro you can even record HD videos at 240 fps. Another amazing fact that with Realme 8 Pro is that you can record videos with front and rear cameras simultaneously (which is also called - Dual Video Recording)

Realme 8 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max both offer a 16 MP front camera with totally same sensor (3 inches) and pixel size (1 micrometer). With both phone's front camera you can record Full HD and HD videos at 30 fps.

Battery & Charger:

Realme 8 Pro is powered by a 1500 mAh Li-ion battery while Redmi Note 10 Pro  Max has been given the power of a 5020 mAh Li-Polymer battery.

So with battery, Redmi Note 10 Pro goes a step ahead.

But taking about the charger, in RN10 Pro Max you will get a 33 W charger to charge your phone from 0-100% within 75 minutes while with Realme 8 Pro's 50 W Super Dart Charge you can charge your phone from 0-100% within just 47 minutes. So, with its 50W Super Dart Charger Realme 8 Pro wins the battle of charger.

Size and Weight:

Realme 8 Pro is just about 176 grams by weight. That means it is not bulky.

But, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max due to its 5020 mAh monster battery is weighted about 192 grams. But again this is all due to its battery size.

Software and UI:

Both Realme 8 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max come up with Android 11.

If you are a tech-savvy person you will better know that Redmi's MIUI is filled up with quite annoying ads, in Realme UI the concern is same. But Realme gives you the power to turn off ads in UI. So in terms of UI Realme wins the race. But as we have found, Redmi's MIUI offers a better experience and still a little faster than Realme UI.

Pricing:

As of May 14, 2021,

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is priced at 19,999 (6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM variant)

And, Realme 8 Pro is priced at 17,999 (6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM variant)

Final words:

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Realme 8 Pro are both head-to-head competitors. But, comparing their price, we can say that Realme 8 Pro wins the battle.

That's all for now.
