Soundcore Life Q10 review

Soundcore is a sub-brand of Anker, now if you don’t know who is this Anker guy then let me tell you, Anker is a well-known brand that makes power banks. Soundcore is a premium audio brand that makes premium audio products and Soundcore Life Q10 is one of them.

Specification:

Life Q10 is a Bluetooth over the ear headphone which contains a massive 60hrs playtime. It only takes 2 hours to a full charge through its type-c port. This headphone supports Bluetooth version 5.0. The codecs used in this headphone are SBC(Subband Codec) and AAC (Advanced Audio Codec) which provides a great sound quality. This headphone has a total of 4 buttons and one 3.5mm headphone jack. In the box, this headphone comes with one aux and one type-c charging cable.

Real-Life experience:

Life Q10 is a premium headphone that also provides a great sound quality at a much more affordable price. In some YouTube reviews, some Youtuber called this headphone a bass-heavy headphone which is partially true but not totally.

This headphone has a special bass up button which triggers the bass into a whole different level. But the normal mode is so balanced that you can easily distinguish every single note, in the balance mode the highs (instruments), mids (vocals), and lows (bass) all are well-tuned. Basically, in the normal mode, the music is so soothing to the ear.

Talking about the bass up mode, it is also good but the bass is a little too high, but the quality of the bass will make legs dance which is pretty good. Due to the high bass, the audio doesn’t get distorted, as the bass increases the other tunes also get increased.

Battery backup in these headphones is mind-blowing. 60 hours battery backup is not a joke, if the battery doesn’t last for that long it’ll at least last for a minimum of 50-55 hours. As this headphone also supports a 3.5 mm jack so you can always use this without a battery. As this headphone has a massive battery for that reason the weight is on the higher side.

The comfort in this headphone is comparable to even more high range headphones. As the cushion is made out of memory foam so the headphone will sit comfortably around your ears and you won’t even feel anything. In case you are curious about the connectivity then let me assure you that you won’t notice any lag in audio if you are watching a video, but in terms of gaming, some noticeable latency is present there. In that case, you can also use an aux cable for gaming.

Should you buy it?

This headphone comes between 2500-3000 rupees and sometimes in some offer you can grab this for around 1700 rupees. Considering the sound, and battery backup for both price tags this headphone offers a great value. It doesn’t matter whether you are an audiophile or a bass-head this headphone won’t hesitate to amaze you with its sound clarity. The normal mode is for audiophiles and the bass up button is for bass-heads. So, if you can spend that much money then this headphone is just waiting to sit on your ear.
